Here are a few tips to make packing serene and fun while being well-prepared for the journey ahead:
Packing light makes the rest of the journey more manageable. To save space you can roll clothes instead of folding them. Packing smart also means keeping items you will use during the journey easily accessible (like earplugs, a book, a bottle of water, snacks…).
Pack your personal essentials first if you are taking any medication or require any specific items for your well-being, pack those first.
Your tailored comfort kit: Prioritize items that will make your journey and stay comfortable, such as your favorite walking shoes. We recommend preparing a pouch or bag with your favorite comfort items such as a cozy scarf, a bottle of your favorite essential oil, a travel pillow… or whatever makes the journey feel more comfortable for you.
Use technology to your advantage:
Digital documents: Keep scans of important documents on your phone for easy access.
Power banks: Packing a charged power bank reduces any stress of having no battery on your phone when you most need it.
Noise-canceling gear: Bring headphones or earplugs to create your quiet zone if you're sound sensitive.
Pack entertainment for the road: Pack a book, download a movie on your device, bring a notepad and pencil to draw or journal, or prepare something enjoyable to do during the waiting times for planes, trains or boats, and during the journey.
If you forgot something, don’t worry, most things can either be bought or borrowed at your destination. Enjoy preparing your journey at your own pace!
