① Go somewhere less bright, if possible
② Look at object 20m (60ft) away, for 20s (relaxes eye)
③ Use soft/warm lightbulbs
④ Wear sunglasses, dimmed glasses
⑤ Seek natural light
The artificial lights which surround us are bothersome to various extents to many people. Light sensitivity, along with sound sensitivity, is very common amongst sensitive people.. Your heightened response to light is a part of your unique sensory profile. Eye fatigue may also come from looking at a screen for many hours.
Easy Routines for Light Sensitivity
Breaks: Regularly take breaks from bright or artificial lights. You can simply close your eyes for a few moments to rest them. One of the simplest ways to find relief from bright light exposure is to be able to Soften your gaze or close your eyes if comfortable. and be in the dark for a moment. You might want to use a mask.

Palming Technique: covering your eyes with the palm of your hands.
Horizon Gathering: One way to rest our eyes is to look into the distance, as far as we may see. If you live by the sea, that’s the perfect setting. If you do office work, you might want to take breaks from your screen and gaze as far as you can, regularly through the day. One short version of this is the
20-20-20 Method: Every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break to look at something 20 feet away. This short break helps to relax your eyes and reduce the fatigue caused by intense or prolonged exposure to bright light.
Natural Light: Whenever possible, seek exposure to natural light. Natural light is easier on the eyes and can improve your overall mood and focus. Exposure to natural light plays a role in our health, and the regulation of various hormones associated with sleep.
