Terms of Service
Use Sia respectfully and responsibly
Effective date: December 28, 2025 · Version 2.0. Please review the commitments that keep the Sensitive Insight App and community trustworthy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
- By downloading, installing, or using the SIA mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
- These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Peaceflow OÜ ("we," "us," "our," or "Company").
2. Description of Service
- SIA is a mobile application designed specifically for Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs) and neuro-sensitive individuals. The App provides:
- Techniques and Situations: Curated content for managing sensitivity and life challenges.
- MySia Personal Dashboard: Private tools for mood tracking, journaling, and personal growth.
- Daily Inspirational Content: Quotes and guidance tailored for HSPs.
- Search and Discovery: Intelligent content search with synonym expansion.
- Crisis Support Tools: Quick access to proven relief techniques.
- Sia Sense: Optional situation-aware recommendations using camera, microphone, and location.
- In-App Purchases: Optional donations and supporter features.
- The App is designed to support your personal growth and well-being, but it is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment.
3. User Accounts and Authentication
- You may use the App as a Guest without creating an account, or create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In.
- Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should have parental permission.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
- Permitted Uses: Personal growth and self-improvement, learning techniques for managing sensitivity, tracking your personal progress, and accessing educational HSP content.
- Prohibited Uses: Illegal or unauthorized purposes, attempting unauthorized access, sharing credentials, harming or harassing others, reverse engineering the App, using automated systems, violating laws, misusing the feedback system, or bypassing security controls.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
- We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our privacy practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
- Most of your personal data (MySia dashboard content, journal entries, mood tracking, HSP assessment results) is stored locally on your device with encryption and is not accessible to us.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
- All content provided through the App, including techniques, situational guidance, quotes, app design, and software code, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
- We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- You retain ownership of content you create within the App. Any feedback you provide may be used by us for product improvement.
7. Medical and Health Disclaimers
- IMPORTANT: The App is designed for educational and self-help purposes only. The content is NOT medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, should NOT replace professional mental health treatment, and is NOT intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
- If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm, severe mental health conditions, or crisis, please seek immediate professional help from your healthcare provider, mental health professional, or emergency services.
- Wellness Data Disclaimer: Mood tracking, breathing sessions, and HSP assessment features are for personal insight only. They do not constitute medical diagnosis or monitoring.
8. Sia Sense Feature
- Sia Sense is an optional feature that uses your device's camera, microphone, and location to provide situation-aware recommendations.
- By enabling Sia Sense, you grant the App permission to access your camera for visual environment analysis, microphone for ambient noise analysis, location for context awareness, and motion sensors for activity detection.
- On-Device Processing: All Sia Sense processing occurs on your device. Raw camera images, audio recordings, and precise location data are not transmitted to our servers.
- You can disable Sia Sense at any time through App settings.
9. Optional AI Services (Enhanced Mode)
- When Enhanced Mode is enabled (requires developer configuration), the App may use third-party AI services: OpenAI GPT-4o Vision for visual environment analysis, Anthropic Claude for synthesis and interpretation, and Perplexity for environmental context.
- When using Enhanced Mode, environment images may be sent to OpenAI, contextual descriptions to Anthropic Claude, and location context queries to Perplexity.
- Your use of AI-powered features is subject to the terms of service and privacy policies of these AI providers. Enhanced Mode is optional and only active when explicitly configured.
10. In-App Purchases
- In-app purchases, donations, and subscriptions are processed through RevenueCat and the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
- All prices are displayed in your local currency and include applicable taxes. Refund policies are governed by the respective app store.
11. Third-Party Services
- The App integrates with: Auth0 and Firebase for authentication, Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In for social login, RevenueCat for in-app purchases, Wiredash for feedback collection, Datamuse API for search enhancement, Google ML Kit for on-device face detection and image labeling, and Google Places SDK for location context.
- Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time.
- TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (IF ANY). WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
13. Termination
- You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it and your account. We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App.
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases. Local data remains on your device until deleted. Server-stored data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- For disputes, please first contact us at hello@entersia.com to attempt resolution. If informal resolution fails, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration.
15. HSP Community Provisions
- As an app designed for the HSP community, we expect all users to respect the sensitivity and needs of others and support a safe, welcoming environment.
- We strive to provide content that is appropriate for sensitive individuals, free from overwhelming material, and supportive of personal growth and well-being.
