About Sia

Sensitive Insight App for people who feel more, hear more, and see more

Sia gives highly sensitive people situation-based guidance, practical techniques, and compassionate community support. Everything we build is co-created with sensitives, experts, and partners so you can navigate daily life on your own terms.

What is Sia?

Sia, the Sensitive Insight App, offers situation-based applicable advice and practical solutions for sensitive people. We bring together a network of collaborators, tools, techniques, and shared experiences to offer compassionate, actionable support whenever you need it.

Sensory processing sensitivity can appear in anyone. It is often present in people on ADHD or autism spectrums, yet it remains under-supported. Living with high sensitivity is powerful, but it also means navigating a world primarily designed for neurotypical perception. Sia exists to add ease, context, and tools so you can harness the strengths of feeling deeply.

Situations & Techniques

Situations give you step-by-step guidance when you are in the middle of something challenging — preparing for a family meeting, dealing with a difficult colleague, bright lights on your commute, or traveling by train. They include what to do right now, plus medium- and long-term perspectives.

Techniques offer adaptable practices you can integrate into routines. Each technique includes clear instructions and “Why it works” explanations, backed by science and vetted by the community. If you know a technique we are missing, you can contribute and help expand the library.

Accessible support, always

Sia is free. Everyone deserves access to tools that make life with sensory processing sensitivity easier. Alongside the core app, we help you connect with carefully vetted experts when you want 1:1 guidance or specialized services.

  • Match with HSP-knowledgeable therapists and coaches for individual support.
  • Help organizations build more HSP-friendly environments with workplace consultants.
  • Discover products and services that other HSPs trust — only when you are seeking them out.

These optional services ensure we can keep growing Sia while prioritizing accessibility and community-first values.

Sia’s story

Markus Fordemann, Sia’s founder, discovered his own sensory processing sensitivity at age 31 and was later diagnosed with ADHD. After years of conversations with fellow HSPs and global experts, he set out to build shared, practical solutions from the ground up.

With a background in digital product development, Markus created Sia as an app that could evolve alongside the community. Every release is informed by real feedback and a commitment to helping sensitives thrive.

Today Sia runs on iOS and Android — and our roadmap spans soundscapes, visual tools, multilingual content, and more. You decide the priorities.
