Common questions
How do course payments work?
Users purchase your courses directly in the Sia app via in-app purchase. You set the price. Apple/Google takes their standard 15-30% fee, then the remaining revenue is split between you and Sia based on your tier (you keep 65-85%). Payouts are automatic.
How do session payments work?
You can accept session payments through Stripe Connect (integrated directly into Sia), Calendly, or your own booking platform. Sia charges a simple platform fee on sessions routed through us — as low as 4% on Premium. You keep the rest.
What qualifications do I need?
We welcome therapists, counselors, coaches (ICF or equivalent), mindfulness instructors, HR wellbeing specialists, and other credentialed professionals who serve sensitive people. We review credentials during the application process.
Do I keep ownership of my content?
Yes. Your intellectual property remains yours. You grant Sia a license to distribute your courses and content on the platform. You can edit or remove your content at any time.
How long does the application take?
Most applications are reviewed within 5-7 business days. Once approved, you can start creating courses and setting up sessions immediately.
